Part of my job involves writing product descriptions. What do you think of this description for a coffee table?

"This versatile coffee table features three drawers for storage and compliments many different types of décor.”

Thank you leadbelly!!!! That's what I was waiting for! Complements...not compliments. All of the rest of you should be ashamed of your stupidity.

I don't think it's a bad description. Maybe doesn't give enough information though. Perhaps if you mention what kind of wood or materials it was made of. Or perhaps add in the size. This versatile, medium sized oak coffee table features three drawers for convenient storage. It would compliment a large variety of decors.

I just think you could get someone to buy it by an edgier approach. LIke: Your guests martinis will set easily on this coffee table because the drawers hide your remote.......or.......Serve the esspresso and dessert here, the baby's rattle tucks away in any of three drawers....or......There is plenty of room on the table cause my vibrator is tucked away.

Sounds like a winner! Can't be sure without a picture but it is descriptive. If you keep doing this good ask for a raise. : - )

Nice, but say 'Flat, has 4 legs, doesn't wobble and has space to store stuff. Looks good too' and i'll buy it!
