I have seen many colors that are considered Burgandy.
Some times they are a chocolate purple with red to it. Some times they are brown with purple. So I think there are several ways to get to A Burgandy color.

First of all it depends on what you want to make them from. Overall....it is not two colors that make burgundy. From the color wheel or prism you cannot make burgundy because you would need black which is non exsistent in each. The colors that make burgundy from the color wheel with black are..........red, blue, and black in unequal proportions....a touch of yellow depending on the hue you need

Maybe red with a little purple? like 4 parts red, one purple... try that... see if you like the shade then add more to get the color you want.

Try mixing Rhodamine Red with a small amount of black. Use more black to deepen the tone
