I have about 1/2-3/4 of a 46 oz. skein of white acrylic yarn left over. I made a bath mat and two shower loofas and still have a lot of yarn left over. What should I make out of the rest? Any clothes or more things for the home? Need some nifty ideas. Thanks

A friend recently bought an older house with a bathroom with robin's egg blue tile in the bathroom around the tub/shower, on the sink counter, and halfway up the walls. She can not remodel now, but was wondering if there was a treatment that would let her paint or coat it & hold up to everday use - any suggestions?

Where can you buy Tartan Paint - My partner said she fancied something different. Or perhaps wallpaper that hangs itself?

I have about 20 or so Cowboy hats both felt and straw, and I was trying to figure out what I could do with them besides hang them on the wall. Is there anybody out there that has any neat ideas that I could do with my old hats. I am not above cutting, painting, or doing what ever to them. I love these old hats and really would hate to just throw them away, they have seen many miles and I would love to still be able to incorporate them in my life. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I bought Target's Winter Solstice tableware a few years back and have been looking for things to add since then. I have checked the websites of all major department stores, plus Target and a few others. Are there any unique, nontraditional christmas websites out there?

We are trying to decide if we should just buy some slip covers for some nice and comfortable couch and loveseat pair. The only problem is they're blue. Or, if we should just go buy a new sofa and maybe an over-sized matching chair. Which is better and why?

If I have stripped paint off a wall back to the plaster, can I paint directly onto the plaster? When I stripped the paint, the plaster seemed to be covered in a light blue coating which came off with the old paint - do I need to put anything on the orange/brown plaster before painting?

The room is north facing, and doesnt get alot of light.
The furniture in the room includes dark wood units and 2 chocolate coloured leather sofas.
There is quite alot of green in the form of houseplants.

It's basically a square room with a window on the wall opposite the fireplace. The wall with the fireplace has two alcoves either side of the chimney breast.

I'm looking for a warm, rich, inviting room, and I have absolutely no idea.

I'd prefer it to be tufted and between 24-34" in diameter. Not hot pink or childlike. This is to go in an adult closet! The best answer would have a direct link to the item!
