I need someone to explain to me how you put the lights on the tree by weeving them up and down the branch? Where do you start? I have been on web sites every where and they say to do this because it makes it glow from inside out and I have seen it done on pre lit trees. So can anyone explain this to me like your talking to a 5 year old? LOL

The house is open right now with no drywall on the walls. We may need to add 3-4 breakers also.

Thanks

We have just finished closing in the garage to make a bedroom. There are two windows which go to the outside of the house and a door going into the house. We used quite a bit of mud and so there is a lot of the white dust on all the walls and floor. Are there any easy ways to 'clean it up' so that we can start painting?

My husband our painting our bedroom and are having terrible problems. It was a light blue and we have so far put three coats of Dutch Boy's Classic Red Satin on because we forgot the primer. We painted the edges and trim with a paint brush but used a roller on the rest. Now you can see the swipes of the paint brush and the edges are darker. We can't get it one solid color without seeing where the last roll of the roller was. We need some help badly. We both thought that you couldn't go wrong painting but we have been proven that it can be done. Does anyone have any ideas? Do we just need to keep adding more coats?

Here are the specs: I have a 700 square foot, 20X35 wood frame apartment that I want to completely redo. I need new bathroom, new bedrooms, (two small ones),new floors, new kitchen, new layout. I want to flip-flop the placement of the Kitchen and Bathroom, so plumbing will be relatively near by. There are NO load-bearing walls in the apt. How much to do TOP middle-end or LOW high end remodel (with demo), if there is such a thing. Want tasteful, not fancy. I'm just trying to get SOME idea of how much this could cost. This is in Brooklyn, NY, easy parking etc. I know there are a lot of variables, but answers are more appreciated than questions.

I am planning to do solicitation over the internet to offer my services for new home owners or to those that are planning to remodel their homes. I do custom cabinetry, built-in furniture pieces, custom cabinets. We achieve the look or style the customer prefers using the wood or finish that appeals to them.

I bought some still in the box furniture at a garage sale. The tags on it (it is outdoor wood furniture) say "KFSI" and "KFBA" after the product names. (The brand is Gardenwood).

Does anyone know what that means, and how I should treat this furniture for outdoor use?
