A friend of mind put Vaseline on all the cut edges and it lasted 8 days after we carved it . . and it looked good .

Spray the inside with a bleach and water mixture or Chlorox clean up. The carved pumpkin will last a long time, depending on how hot the room is or outdoor temperature.

They don't preserve well. you can try refrigerating it but that will only add a few days to its life.
I paint my pumpkins with markers or tempra paint to make funny faces and they last longer un cut.

refridgerate it it'll last about two weeks
