how can i decorate my small living room . i bougth the furniture for it, a big off white sofa with a love seat and a champain lazy chair .

HGTV has a great web site that gives lots of different ideas for decorating, depending on your specific style. Whites and creams and champagnes are good neutral colors that you can jazz up with the season. Maybe some pillows and a rug that are in reds, golds to get you through fall and Christmas would be a good start. Go to open houses of model houses for decorating ideas.

What a wonderful start! Begin with an "Inspiration Piece" such as your favorite painting, a mirror, a pillow or a rug. Build from the colors and style of your "Inspiration Piece." I believe pillows or a throw should be the first addition to your new furniture for a slash of color and/or style. If you enjoy the neutral color scheme, you can make it very elegant by adding accents in gold, silver and pewter- mix them all together! Artwork is very important to complete a room, so keep that in your budget. If you are concerned about space, size and weight, use mirrors to enhance the lighting creating the illusion of bright open space. Use lighting to make small look bigger... torche'floor lamps.. mirrors.. and multi use tables like chest types for storage and table surface. Add some color with throws and wall prints.
