You should either create or find (at Target, Linens N Things, etc) a fabric memo board. They have a fabric background and then there is ribbon across in both directions that allows you to "stick" a photo or note in the spaces... it's easy to change them out and gives a great space to show off pictures...

You can stick your pictures on large, thick cardboard squares that have been cut according to the pictures' sizes, leaving a broad margin or border all around the four sides. Then, within that margin and also between every 2 or 3 pictures, you can stick lovely small seashells , cute little bells, dry-arrangement flowers, silver old fashioned thimbles, tiny trinkets from the old trunk in the attic, pebbles, feathers and so on, and spray them all a bit with a golden-dust spray here and there. This'll make the frame glisten 'goldenly' whenever it'll catch light. Attach 2 small metal loops at the back and pass a cord of stong string through them. Hang up your great pictues on the wall with the theme: golden memories...and don't forget tiny, shiny golden stars to give a 'magical' effect!

Maybe take them down and make like a collage on some foam board and get some nice plain boarder for the edges. You can even cover it with some plastic or light glass to protect the pictures. You may be able to find one already made up with frames, but the ones I have seen are all smaller frames.

A great place to buy frames at a reasonable price is Ikea. They have larger sizes as well as frames that hold multiple pictures.
Another idea is try an arts & craft store like Michael's. They usually sell frames and matting individually so you can decide what you would like to do.

Walmart has 8x10, 11x17 for a couple bucks each!
Or go to yahoo and look up FREECYCLE. Then find the freecycle in your area. Ask if anyone has frames! (Freecycle has one rule, it has to be FREE. If you have a couch to get rid of, list in on the freecycle board, and whomever you choose to take it, gets it for free. If you ask for frames, several folks will say they have them, and often put them on their porch for you to pick up whenever!)
Then, take all the frames and paint them all with the same paint. I use white frames on my yellow walls. Small ones, big ones, all on one wall over the sofa. But black is nice, too. Or try another color. If they all match, being different sizes wont matter. Check Pottery Barn to see what I mean.
Good luck

Why don't you try making your own frames? I made my children baby books instead of buying them and this is where I store all my pictures of them. I keep the baby books in the living room on the book shelf so they are easily accessible.
If you would like to try to make your own frames or photo albums...email me and I will tell you how I did it.

Why do not you try scrapbooking the body. opt for your photos, opt for some suitable papers, elaborations, you should use mag cutouts, yet you are able to personalize each and each and every image by technique of creating the colors tournament, or matters similar, and then you'll mat the entire component with a corresponding colour to body it (contained in the body), then use some rub-on words to assert what you want to assert everywhere in the fringe of the gorgeous image's. What ever you do with the body, that is going to wish to be eyecatching as a thanks to confirm it on the wall with no need to get correct up less than it to confirm. save it straight forward and in basic terms use 2 or 3 colorations that in good structure.
