About a fourth of the tree has been damaged. Should I trim back the entire tree? I'm not sure what kind it is. I don't want to kill it. Will trimming it back a lot harm it?

I just moved into a new construction and it has a new water heater. When I turned on the hot water faucet to let the water pour just a little bit, it runs fine with a small steady stream. The second I turn the faucet more, the water will begin to pour sporadically like its choking and the faucet will shake. Are you suppose to break in a new water heater?

I'm in a major renovation in my house, and I'm looking for advice on what to with the new floor and crown moulding, and the door trim. Also, the doors are unfinished, and I'm uncertain whether to paint them (and what color!), or whether to stain them. My rooms are all neutral colors (light tans/sand colors.)

Also, the floors are carbonized bamboo, a medium brown shade, not the lighter natural color. Thanks

When my monthly visitor came, my bed sheets were ruined!

Then I procrastinated and now the stain is old and still there, but the problem is that the sheets are pink, so a lot of the blood stain removing tips on yahoo answers don't really help me because they only apply to lighter colours.

I'm considering peroxide, but I don't really know if I should risk it because they could eat through/bleach/stain (since some one said peroxide left a green stain) my new Hello Kitty sheets. If peroxide ruins my sheet, I'd kill myself because the stain is right in the middle of the sheet. Ugh.

I considered just soaking the sheet in just cold water over night, but when I did that to an old blood stain on my underwear, the blood mixed with the water and stained my entire underwear a rusty color. Disgusting! The stain didn't even come out all the way! >:U

Any SAFE ways to remove old blood stains from pink fabric?

The odor smells like mildew or a "sour" smell. I have tried washing the blanket in detergent and baking soda but that doesn't work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have bought the squirrel proof feeders and the figure them out. I have hung bells on the feeder pole and the squirrels ignore it after a few days, they hang upside down and clean out a feeder in just a few minutes. I would mind if they ate some because I don't mind feeding them but I don't want them cleaning out a feeder in just a few minutes! Thanks for any help!

I have a Kenmore front loader dryer. Only two years old. The digital readout lights up and works fine, so it is not a blown fuse. However, when I push the start button nothing happens. Once in a while it will start up, but that is becoming increasingly rare. When it does start, it works perfectly fine. Anything I should check before paying a repair person?

In the process of moving and buying a new home. Can't find many homes with granite counter tops in the kitchen. Weighing the option of buying without granite countertops and having them installed. Need a ballpark idea of the cost of having granite counter tops installed. Any info or websites etc would be appreciated.

We recently moved into a house around alot of farmland. We were out weeding our flower garden that we are starting when we came across a snake, then another, then like six more. They are harmless snakes, just common Garter snakes or chicken snakes rather, but I do not want them around here, we have small boys who play outside alot. We are severely scared of these creatures, laugh all you want, but be confronted with 6-8 together at one time, lol. Please lend us your ears and your suggestions. Thanks!
