Wash the jeans in COLD water, along with your other fancy dark color clothing, using the PERMANENT PRESS cycle.
Wash the shirt also in COLD water AND using the GENTLE cycle. MAKE SURE that you use the GENTLE cycle.
After that, you should be "good-to-go"!

It's going to be hard but wash in cold and avoid the dryer. Even at low settings, it can shrink cotton. We used to wash our jeans in warm water, remove them and put them on wet and let them dry. They then fit perfectly but that is for the skinny jean look. It seems that eventually, someone is going to use warm or hot water and the dryer on your clothes. Good luck

Wash in cold water and line dry. Even the lowest setting on the dryer gives off heat. \

well, over time, it seems everything shrinks. If you have no other choice but to use a dryer (like if you can't line dry them), use the lowest possible heat setting in the dryer on the delicate cycle. Good luck!

Wash the clothes in cold water and don't dry them. Tide also makes a detergent that is suppose to help clothes keep their fit, but I can't remember what it is called.
