I'm seriously concidering living in a treehouse, and not one in the back yard. I've done some reaserch there are acctual treehouses where people can live. You just need a big enouggh/sturdy enough tree, but I want to know details. Like electrical and all, I already understand most of the plumming stuff.
Thanks guys.

How exactly would you shower? How big must that tree be, for you to have enough room to even stand up and walk around? How would you deal with carrying groceries up? Just imagine cooking inside! A fire, no doubt.
What about storms? A normal house will not budge, whereas a treehouse...well, you get the point.
And 'plumming' will be as hard as 'peaching'. You need a ton of money to be able to maintain your tree house.
...There's a reason why our houses are mainly on the ground.

HA! So random. Well although you would think tree house life is glamorous it can get messy. Make sure you have a lighting rod and you have it grounded or you're toast. You also have to consider safety and most importantly why you want to live in a tree house... plumbing is nice, maybe you should consider a tower, or a geodesic dome kit.
Geodesic domes are the coolest think in the world, they are strong and just plain amazing. Check out this site http://www.aidomes.com/ you may just change your mind about your treehouse....

You wouldn't want to live somewhere with a lot of wind. You'd want to have the tree stabalized to the ground as trees are only about 1 foot in the ground and can easily tip over. Electrical would probably be wired from the ground up through a tube attatched near the tree. You'd probably be best going with a two story house, with a tree in the middle. I've seen that done.

Well if you live in a tree house and the tree is in your back yard, do this, grab a bunch of extension cords and round thjem up to your tree. plug things in and boom. But how are you going to get a bed up there? When you're ready to talk, PM me at kevin.chhoeuy@gmail.com

don't do it i tried it once and first we had to replace the place with windows and then the floor was uncomfortable even with a sleeping bag so u need a bed which hardly fits... also u'd need lots of room to do stuff treehouses are fun but u can't live in them

Consider buying stock and ample supplies of Dramamine because trees sway in the wind and plumbing and wiring becomes problematic. Sure sounds neat though.

Where are you going to go to the bathroom, and take showers?

If you can successfully stave off the spiders and other rodents, then yes, it is worth it.
Cheers
