Like I said, I would like to spray my whole lawn with round up and then take it all out once it is dead to apply new sod. My question is should I just spray it now with long grass or cut it short beforehand then do it. Thanks.

People used to use a 6 or 7 foot tall metal rod that had two metal loops on the end. This was moveable, and the clothesline fit between the loops and you could push the line up this way. I don't know where to get something like that.
I don't know what it's called. That's why I'm asking for alternative ideas. The line droops down the most in the middle, naturally. Don't want sheets to get dirty from the ground!

I would like to replace a carpet in my bedroom using someone like Empire Carpet. What is an average cost?

I can't find anything online and I want to know before I have a guy come to my house and give me an estimate.

Also, what is an average of replacing your carpet with hardwood flooring?
