My apple trees are six years old and have produced fruit in the past. For the past two years, shortly after the tree has blossomed something eats the blooms. There is no damage to the leaves or bark.

My 16-year-old St Bernard dog, Ted, has passed away yesterday and my daughter and I are tremendously upset. My daughter is only fourteen-years-old and so you could imagine that the dog was like a father to her.

My daughter wants to bury the dog in our back garden but I don't know the laws on this. And, if we are allowed, my daughter has offered to dig the hole and put him in it and fill it up and stamp her feet on the soil to pack it nice and tight.

But it's a big dog and so I'm worried about the size of the hole. Anything could happen! My daughter might accidentally fall in the hole and I wouldn't know anything about it. I spend most of my days at work when it's light outside so I will not be able to help with the shovelling.

So are we allowed to do this is this country?

Someone I know has the worst carpet...It is so rotten the carpet gets sucked up into the vacumn cleaner, tons of it, every time it is vacumned!!, and I just can't believe that this could be healthy for her..It must be getting into her lungs every time the house is vacumned...She has MS and this must be awful for her health!!...In one of the back bedrooms, the carpet was so rotten that whole big hunks got sucked up at once in the vacumn cleaner and burned up the vacumn engine...Is there anywhere that I could send a sample of this gross carpet/pad underneath, and find out what is growing in it...

HELP!!...Any suggestions? Her carpet is probably about 40 or 50 years old...

This is serious...

Thanks for your time and consideration!!

Can someone look up what the last invoice they received looked like, did it have labour seperate from material costs and also were the material costs split up into every little thing or was it more less lumped together? Like for a floor, furnace, new windows installed... anything? Please?

My Boxer got a hold of my little girls diaper rash cream and is covered in it, I have tried regular dog shampoo and then my Dish soap (it said it cuts grease) none of which has gotten it off of him, it seems it just spread it out more.

I have a boring garden and so does my neighbour 'Betty'. Last month I decided to improve my garden and planted many evergreens. The next day, I looked out of my bedroom window and discovered that Betty had copied and added twice as much evergreens as me. The following week, I decided to add a nice small fountain. Within two days, Betty had installed a massive artficial waterfall which was bigger than my house. Naturally I was upset so I decided to cheer myself up and bought a Land Rover. Then just yesterday morning, I looked out of my kitchen window and discovered that Betty had treat herself to a Porsche. BUT today was the last straw. Betty overheard me say to my friend that I was going to book flying lessons. Then this afternoon, I saw Betty fly over my house very low and the vibration cracked my new garden fountain.

Is there anything I can say to her to stop her making me feel uneased???

I bought my house and it had a small pond in the back one of my ideas was to convert it into a sunken firepit. However here is where my question lies. How do I provide adequate drainage for it. I live in the Hutto, TX area and we have very clayey soil.

I am presently extending the height of my garden fence to 30 feet. I knows it's a little too high for the small garden that I have but I want to sunbathe this summer in private as I am very fat. (I'm male!)

You might think that my next-door neighbour is the only possible person to see me sunbathing in the nude through her bedroom window, but fortunately she is completely blind and her guide dog doesn't look through her window as he isn't allowed on the windowsill.

But I'm worried about her home-help! They might see my fat body while they dust her windowsill.

Should I tell her to stop her home-help? I can dust on days when it's cloudy! And has anyone else had this same problem?

I can afford to re-do my (12') kitchen island right now, and I'm not getting much attention from Lowe's or Home Depot; the designer hasn't called back. What are the other options? DIY is not practical, so I'm not going there.
Who else can help me design this island? Where else, besides other Big Boxes, can I go for design and product? I'm looking at upper-end stock cabinets to semi-custom.
Thanks for your time and help!
