I think I read somewhere that there is a way to sand and paint formica countertops but I can't remember where I found the infomation.

I am looking for a red upright kettle to continue a red theme in my kitchen - when I get one which might be in the next few weeks.

I cannot use the heavy metal round ones - I have seen a few around that are the round ones but they are very heavy for me as I have shoulder, wrist and hand problems. I am in UK midlands.

My Becko eco care dishwasher seems to be making our main power box trip!!
The power tripped , its a safety mechanism , you know if a fuse goes etc then you reset it and deal with the issue.
we isolated the problem down to our dishwasher , we thought it was the socket it was plugged into, once we disconnected it the power was fine , so my other half plugged it in another socket using an extension , it worked for abou 3 minutes and then it tripped the power again theres no obvious problem with the dishwasher...any ideas....?
The fuse is fine im not aware of getting water in any of the switches or anything like that...
Any ideas woul dbe greatly appreciated
the model is Beko Eco Care D3422 FS

a proffessional sander does anyone know the best way to go about varnishing them etc. we need to try and make them harder. Can anyone recomend any good websites?

my bro mistook machine oil container with water container and spilled oil all over the railing beside steps. as a punishment for not taking care of him, my mother told me to clean up the oil. i tried using newspaper and tissue paper for absorbing it. i could clean up only half of the mess. how can i clean up the rest of the machine oil using any other way and remove its horrible smell?

Somehow when I was out of town my grandfather broke the seal on my toilet and now it is not secured to the floor anymore. We are tight on money and I was wondering how much it would cost because we are going to have to borrow the money from a friend.

We don't want to do it ourself because we are afraid we would mess it up.

Also I am going to call a plumber in the morning to get an estimate just thought there would be someone on here that many know approximately how much it would cost.

I'm looking for someone like that for a landscaping project for my front yard. I live in No Cal (Monterey Peninsula) and am looking for someone who can come in and help me. I'm on a budget and looking to turn my front yard into a courtyard in keeping with the Spanish style house. I need to lessen the maintenance, but give it curb appeal. Today, something weird happened I got up and tried to open my door but the handle just kept on spinning and the door didn't open! I couldn't get out and I knocked on the door and my roomate let me out. But the knob on the inside is still broken and I'm afraid to close my door because then I'd be trapped again.

Has this ever happened to you? And also what should I do to fix my door?
