They are everywhere in my lawn and garden. I can kill the part above ground which leaves big bare spots in my yard but does not harm the thousands of bulbs under ground. If you can answer this, Yahoo Answers should give you several thousand points. - (Joke)

We have been turning it every 2 weeks like they told us except last week we were away for 5 days and when we turned it over there was mold on the outside cover, yuk. The mattress looks ok, but it smells funny. We can't afford to throw it out.

In my house ive always wondered but never asked.. the hot water pressure is REAL strong and the cold water pressure is real weak. theres nothing wrong with how hot or how cold its just that when you turn the hot water on it flows normal, but the cold water barely drips out. anybody know a fix for this ?

I know flowers in general are considered "feminine"... but lets say I wanted to put flowers in my husband's office. What kind of "manly" flowers should I choose?

Thanks...

I have a picture in a poster frame that I want to exchange with another.

It was bought at a yard sale and the previous owner (or somebody else) used glue to put it in. It's not Elmers and looks more like epoxy judging by the shine to it.

How can I remove the poster without ruining the frame, the glass (main reason I spent the two bucks) or the cardboard backing? I don't care if the picture is lost.

I realize I'm asking a lot but I am hoping one of you have a solution.

I have a cupboard in my porch which is painted white just now. I am planning to do the room up and wanted the cupboard to be a nice wooden colour. Can I varnish over paint or is there a paint out there that would make it look like it had been varnished i.e. a nice brown colour?

I need to buy a loveseat and I have two choices, one from Target and one from Ashley furniture... They are both the same price but I don't know which one will be better. I went to the store to see the one in Ashley Furniture and is nice but I don't have any idea about how comfortable can be the furniture from Target. The reason because I am thinking about Target is because that loveseat have the perfect measure for my small living room. Help me please!

I have a submersible pump (1/2 hp) with out an external float (it appears that there is a switch on the side of the pump that triggers it to kick on). When I unplug the pump, the water stops flowing in at the level of the drain pipe and stops completely. When I look outside of the house, the pvc pipe runs underground for about 30 feet until it reaches a sizable puddle in the back yard that swells when the pump runs, then recedes when it shuts off. I have a partial unfinished basement with a small lake ~1/2 an acre away. The sump pump itself appears to be deep in the well as opposed to previous homes that I have owned (~7-10 inches below the water drain). I am worried that at a time of crisis (strong rain) that the sump will burn out because it runs too often when the weather is dry. I am new to the house as we moved in ~2 weeks ago. We live in northern Illinois. Any help would be appreciated!

I can find the standard poles in places like next but they are not long enough, I have also found one with cars at the ends but the pole is blue and I was hoping for silver. Ideally I need to find finials sold seperately and then simply buy an extendable pole to put them on. Please help!
