My sweater was an oatmeal color and a spec of black got on it --it's water soluble art paint. I tried to clean it up as best I could without damaging it some more. It has lighten to a light gray, but it's still there. What's the best way to lighten up this mark up myself till it's unoticable and keep the cashmere soft?

Going to the cleaners would be my last resort.

I have home that currently has two toilets, one tub, two bathroom sinks, one kitchen sink and one washing machine on the drain line that was built with the house and has proper vent pipe(s). I am adding an additional whirlpool tub and seperate standup shower in an extended bathroom. Giving the layout the contractor had to run a new drain line for these two items the length of the addition of the house which is aprox. 14 feet then have a elbow and go two more feet and join into the existing drain line. For the vent pipe on this new drain line we were told that it only has to be five foot up and at that point can be capped off and didnt need to be connected to anything else i.e. other vent pipe or out the roof as a standalone vent pipe because this drain line was for a shower and tub only. Can someone please verify this issue because I think the contractor is trying to take too many short cuts. I thought the line had to get air in to help with water going out as well as vent fumes.

It was working fine and the one of the screws got loose which I put back on my kwickset door knob Door knob latch was working fine before. I had problem locking it from inside but I did something and it is working know, except that my latch is normal full extension if I do not tighten inside screws. Once tightened latch is only half way and does not secure door. Even the wind can open it. I tried removing and adjusting side plate but no luck. I did grease the parts with white grease. Any suggestion or web sites with videos. What did I do wrong

The pink potted hydrangea plant my husband bought me for valentines day looks like it is suffering. I've noticed the flowers start to wilt and droop a couple of times but water helped to rejuvenate it. Since then I've been watering more but the edges of the leaves and petals are turning brown and dry. Should I cut or pick them off? Should I water even more? Help! I love my plant and don't want to kill it.

Moulds/fungus have been seen growing inside & outside of my wardrobes, though I hve bought sprays which meant for wood-finishes to clean them again & again, until I finally give up and changed to a new sets. However, the problems still returns... (Note: the moulds/fungus are growing in a circular form, inside & outside of the wardrobe, on the same spot & with the same patterns. And my HDB area used to be a reclaimed land, I live on the 7th floor.) Very thankful if anyone can help to solve this problem

I'm thinking of buying either an extra refridgerator or a standalone freezer. Also I have a few one day passes to Sam's Club. I'm wondering how much I could save by buying a refridgerator at Sam's Club as opposed to somewhere else (for example wal-mart)

What are some of the basics that go into replacing/updating a plaster ceiling? Is it as hard as it seems?? I have absolutely fallen in love with this house but it was built in 1900 and the ceiling is sagging and the second floor is soft and unlevel. Is this something that I could research and do (with help) or do I have to call a contractor of some sort? I know it would be a great undertaking but I'm not sure I have the funds to hire someone.

If you have it in your heart to donate to my project, I have a paypal account under Luvamphibians@yahoo.com. Shameless, I know but I love this house with all my heart and I want it forever and ever!!!

The Big Bags are Ziploc's newest product and it's usually 2 feet by 1.5 or 2.5 feet. It can store things like sleeping bags, sports equipments, etc. I need to buy some for a solar cooking project I'm doing this Saturday. Are there any stores that sell them or can you only buy them from on-line? Thanks!
