you can buy mildew preventer where you bought your paint, they will even mix it (shake it) in for you. use a bleach and water mix to clean the mold/mildew off of the ceiling and walls before you paint. to keep mildew and mold out of your bathroom, you need to install an exhaust fan in the ceiling and vent it outside. and you also need to use the exhaust fan every time you shower or bathe. good luck, hope this helps.

I'm a Painting Contractor- Bleach in paint is a bad idea. Call someone experienced in mold removal. Mold is dangerous and can kill you and your family.

Egad, NO!!!! I mean, it will definitely keep mold off of your wall, but it will ruin your paint.

There are other mold inhibitors that are based on similar chemistry to bleach. Use them. They can be added by the place from which you buy the paint. Or, you can buy the stuff separately in small packets.
