Moulds/fungus have been seen growing inside & outside of my wardrobes, though I hve bought sprays which meant for wood-finishes to clean them again & again, until I finally give up and changed to a new sets. However, the problems still returns... (Note: the moulds/fungus are growing in a circular form, inside & outside of the wardrobe, on the same spot & with the same patterns. And my HDB area used to be a reclaimed land, I live on the 7th floor.) Very thankful if anyone can help to solve this problem

Pls. check the mat'ls used in your wardrobe.
Common mat'ls prone to adopt molds - all kind of this type are these so called compressed boards: MDF - medium density fiber boards and Pb - Particle boards. Dry it directly under the sun then seal thoroughly all exposed surface by applying sanding sealer (lacquer type readily available in hardware stores applied by brush or spray) Put dehumidifier to maintain low moisture content inside the cabinet. Do's & Dont. To be applied only to the wooden surface. If surface is laminated with vinyl or pvc (polyvinyl cloride) apply only on uncovered parts like the edges. Also check Your walls for cracks that water penetrates in it. Do some water proofing. Elastomeric paints will do good on concrete. Next time buy solid wood for your furniture.

Use a bleach and water solution, and then get a dehumidifier to cut down on the humidity and moisture around the area, this will help to cut down on mold.

I had a leaky bathroom cause mold in our closests, but they were regular walls. We used a bleach/water mixture to kill it..not sure if you have wood walls.
