In my house ive always wondered but never asked.. the hot water pressure is REAL strong and the cold water pressure is real weak. theres nothing wrong with how hot or how cold its just that when you turn the hot water on it flows normal, but the cold water barely drips out. anybody know a fix for this ?

Could be that you have water service that is overpressure. Household fixtures are designed for <80psi, but I have seen some with 120psi! That will break faucets, valves, etc. over time.

You need to get a pressure gauge and put it near your supply line to your house. If you read over 80psi you need a pressure reducing valve. Otherwise you need to get all the valves from there on in to your faucet adjusted and checked for failures.

Your subject is that the bladder tank has ruptured. The bladder tank is that massive blue (in many cases) factor close to the place the water line enters the abode. With the tank to alter stress, the nicely pump is cycling on and rancid as water is getting used, ensuing interior the stress being severe whilst the pump in on and close to the shutoff stress for the stress change, and all the way down to no longer something as quickly because it shuts off until the stress drops to the point the place the change demands extra water. replace the bladder and then use an air compressor to pressurize the bladder to 35-40 lbs.

If it is the old galvanized pipe you may have a build up in it. If it is going to a faucet then sometimes scale builds up in the opening of the flexible tubing. The opening into the flex is usually pretty small. Also you can have build up in the faucet cartridge.
