How much does it cost to refinsh hardwood floors?

DIY job.. will be pretty cheap... home depot rents floor sanders.. for about $65.00 day if i remember right.. then the finish you want is about $12.50 a gallon... i would say under $200. if you do it your self in a weekend...
remember to block off the vents... and to put up plastic over the door ways.. that sanded wood gets every place
