The voltage you have in China And that part of the world is 220v per line to neutral. In America you have two 120v lines, and a neutral coming to your home. Most foreign country's run two 220v lines and a neutral coming to there homes. I recommend you contact an electrical supply house in your area and tell them that you want to run a 120v appliance and you need the transformer or knockdown resister to run it. They can help you without blowing yourself up.

Another option is to buy something called a 'step-down transformer'. This will accept 220v, but only send 115v to your pump. This works well if you are afraid to rewire your 220v outlet.

Just use one line. The voltage across two 115's is 220, the voltage across the 115 to neutral is 115.
