The door is locked on the inside and i cat open the door fom the outside so..how can i open it now??

my sister was cleaning the room and she didnt know the door was locked she shut the door and now its locked we cant poen it on the outside. soo how are we going to open it!!!

If this is a room door, most all regular inside doors have a hole or slot in the outside handle. If it has a hole, the key consists of a small metal pin about the same diameter as a large paperclip, and the end is flattened to resemble a screwdriver tip. A small jewelers/eyeglass screwdriver will work as well. The others have a slot that a dime or screwdriver should open easily.

If this is a security lock or outside door - maybe break an easy to replace single glazed window?

Look the lock over. If it is a room lock you will see a hole in the knob, all you do is push something into it and it will open. Some are also slotted and all you need to do is turn the slot with a coin. If it takes a key to open it, pry the wooden sash away from the frame enough so you can get like a credit card in there and then just push that against the plunger. You can also get someone from the fire department. We were taught how to gain access to room without too much damage.

You will have to try to pick the lock or holler like heck! All fails, then you have to Email the fire department or the police to get you out! Good luck! Or email a friend that's a whole lot less embarrassing!
