Your question is a little confusing.

Between yards as far as landscaping trees such as evergreens can be used to deaden sound. Even hills can be used to deaden sound.

For the walls of your house. A spray in insulation foam that filles up the cracks and walls would work very well. I would recommend a closed cell foam compared to an open cell foam. If you have vinyl siding, there are some vinyl sidings that have expanded polystyrene foam molded to the underside of the siding and that would help. Or if you have a brick sided house, that would help due to the weight of the bricks.

Spray in foam in the walls would work much better than the blown in cellulose. It's denser, less cracks, etc. It's just a better insulator.

Egg tray. U know the cone type. Its cheap and recyclable and easy to get. that's the best sound proof u can get. just stick it together.
