In what season do I plant seed potato in Western Australia.?

I am starting a veg garden and want to know when to plant potatoes, corn, etc.

Potatoes
"Can be planted in spring and early summer in the frostier areas, otherwise from early spring to early autumn."

Here we figure 6 weeks before last frost date. We live in a rather mild climate, zone 8b, Texas.

Corn
"Plant in spring all areas in succession until early summer."
"Germination temperature: 65 F to 85 F - Will not germinate below 55 F."
A word about corn...you definitely want it in succession, and to help with germination, plant in blocks rather than rows.
