If your vacuum isn't picking them off of the carpet you either need to empty it or get a new vacuum. For the floor I use my Swiffer Sweeper Vac. I just love it! It picks up hairs in the bath, crumbs in the kitchen, and dirt and grass clippings in the entryway. Works great!

The best thing to use on the bathroom floor is a broom; then vacuum it up and then wet mop it. It does not take as long as you think it might. For the carpet, make sure your beater brush in your vacuum is not wound around with hair and thread, and such. Clean it out if it is; this might mean taking it to a vacuum center to be prefessionally cleaned. I do this once a year or so anyway. The check the belts are working and replace them, also the motor is working correctly.

One is to turn your vacuum over and make sure that the brush doesn't have threads, hair and lint clogging it. If it does, it needs to be cleaned. You can also make sure the vacuum bag is empty when you start. More suction that way.

Also, you can use a broom, especially on the carpet. It's actually kind of gross how much junk you can get off the carpet (even after you've vacuumed) when you use a stiff broom.

there is a rubber bristled broom from most stores that sell any cleaning supplies and it will dig into your carpet and get the hair it worked for me and for the other flooring use a swiffer sweeper or put duct tape around your hand sticky side out and use it to get the hair off of anything

When you hoover the carpet. You wear kitchen rubber gloves then you wipe the carpet. Amazing the hair will come together and throw away. Hoover again.

On your hands and Knees with a scrubbing brush, make sure you remove the hair from the brush every so often, I found this the best.
