I put my spring clothes away last fall and when I got out my spring wardrobe for this year, they had turned yellow in some areas.

well there is no need to use bleach , Use the old fashioned soap bar used for washing clothes. Soak your clothes in cold water ,rub the soap into the stain/stain´s then leave the clothes free from the water with the soap in. This lets the soap do it´s work, i would say 1/2-1hr, then back to cold water give them a rub add more soap and straight to the washing machine , don´t worry about rinsing the soap off . If you are washing white clothes that have the stain rather wash them in a cold wash , the more heat you add to a stain the harder it is to remove when I speak in washing terms. Once the clothes have been washed in the machine hang them outside in the sun, as the sun will bleach the stains out the natural way. also keep your whites even whiter

You can use bleach, color-safe bleach, borax powder, biz, or and of the oxyclean stuff. Use in addition to regular detergent. Make sure to test a hidden area on colors and check the labels.

Ammonia will get the dinginess out of clothes. Add a little to the washer and wash with detergent and BE careful it will burn your snoz!

Bleach them.....If they are not white, use color-safe bleach. If that does not work, try leaving them in a verrry sunny area for a few days, the yellow should fade.

Mrs. White's liquid bluing works really well for restoring the blingy white.

Fill your wash tub and add a capful of IronOut. You can find it at your local hardware or Walmart, etc.
