In the process of moving and buying a new home. Can't find many homes with granite counter tops in the kitchen. Weighing the option of buying without granite countertops and having them installed. Need a ballpark idea of the cost of having granite counter tops installed. Any info or websites etc would be appreciated.

definitely use a reputable company...we are in a court battle with our granite installer as they left the job half done and broke several pieces...it is a nightmare...if we could do it all over again we would have gone with lowes or homedepot. good luck

try lowes ,com ,cost about $ 45 to$ 75 per sq foot,
the ave ktichen is about $5,200 to supply and fit
depending on the size and what color , make etc , dont get bored with it either it cost so much ask your local remodeler as we work with the pro most of the time , inthe yellow pages
