I'm in a major renovation in my house, and I'm looking for advice on what to with the new floor and crown moulding, and the door trim. Also, the doors are unfinished, and I'm uncertain whether to paint them (and what color!), or whether to stain them. My rooms are all neutral colors (light tans/sand colors.)

Also, the floors are carbonized bamboo, a medium brown shade, not the lighter natural color. Thanks

White with a cream tint, or deep walnut brown. Look for a contrast in the trim and doors. It makes the whole room pop!

It's all a matter of taste. I would stay with earth tones. Get some samplers and take them home and do some site comparisons. Hope this helps.
