Try Dawn dish soap. Put it on the stain, let it sit. Then launder as usual. It won't hurt the fabric.

Lemon will cut the grease...I have heard of it before, but have never used it. I use dawn mostly for grease stains and add ammonia to the wash!

Hope that helped :)

You don't. Just keep the shirt for when you are again working on your car or any other dirty project. That way you won't ruin any other good shirts by getting them grease stained.

Yeah, heard of it but never needed to try it.
Whenever Shout! doesn't work for me, Greased Lightening always does. Spray stains and wash/dry normally.

I am afraid that the grease stain already settled in. If you have not wash it yet since it got stained with grease; spot wash with 100% pine sol and than wash it the normal way.

Try rubbing alcohol, put a cloth under the stain, apply alcohol then press a cloth on top of the stain. The stain will transfer onto the cloth underneath. It works for ink too.
