My boyfriend lent on my nose. By accident. As you do. Awful cracking noise, but thought that might just be, erm, normal.

The top bone (by the bridge) is fine, by the cartalidge in the main nose can shift about in an odd way, and my nose can bend in mysterious ways. It feels like bits ahve gone floppy!

I called the GP nurse and she was like 'aw, it's fine, put ice on it'.

But what if it heals wonky? It feels very. very, very odd.

Han :-)

I have fair skin, so anytime I run into a chair or something, there is a bruise. This past week or so though, I have found bruises on my legs that I can't even think of what I could have hit or run into. It seems like they just appeared out of nowhere. A friend of mine is a medical assistant, and she said maybe it's low iron. I haven't changed my diet or anything recently-- still eating whatever I want lol It's just weirding me out I guess and I'd like to know what, other then low iron, could be the cause. Thanks :)

2morrow (dec. 30th) will mark one year since i had my knee reconstructed. I had my ACL replaced and part of my meniscus taken out. i started snowboarding again this season even though i still have problems with it. after boarding it swells up which is to be expected. But one thing i don't understand is it locks up when i have been sitting for a while. I have to kick it out until it pops before i can walk on it and even then i gimp for a little bit before i can walk normal again (2-5 minutes). i notice this mostly when i go to leave my classes or get out of the car after driving for a while. does anyone know what is making this happen and what i can do to make it chill out?

About 8 days ago I was carring a box & tripped on some shoes, I didn't fall but I kind of stretched my right leg. It hurt at first but not that bad & it felt OK later. The next day it was OK, but after about 3 days my leg started to hurt only when I tried to pull my leg forward taking a step & it felt weak. After I would be walking around for a little while it got better. Every day sence it has gotten worse. Now I can't hardley walk. When I'm sitting down it feels fine.Does anyone know what it could be? I'm trying to get in to see a Dr. but it will be a few days untill I can get in & I'm getting worried. Thank You!!

It also has white chunks in it. I'm wondering if this is normal? Also, my lover and I had a really intense sexual session last night. Could this be the cause?

While walking, there is pain in the heals (botton of the feet). The pain persisted for about 02 months. It has healed on its own, but there is a chance it may reoccur if proper precautions are not taken. I walk and exercise regularly.

I miscalculated the number of steps left while going down a flight of stairs. I thought I had reached the bottom but there was another set of steps and my foot unexpectedly went lower; I rolled and sprained my ankle very badly. The lighting in the store was VERY dim (probably about as dark as the most dimly lit bar in your area) and I could not see the last step. Do I have a case? If so, does anybody know any lawyers in the Los Angeles area?

Hey guys I have huge trouble walking on my flat feet. It is extremely painful!!! I was born like this of course. The doctor says my tendins are short, and it is not severe. I get a bunch of crap like Ballerina boy and tip-toe kid. AND IM SICK OF IT!!! So.. does anyone know what is wrong??? Also on a final note, I play on a great baseball team, one of the best in the county and it effects me with my running, and I can't even get near my toes when I try to touch them.

i am waiting to get into the doctor's office pretty soon. my toe is swollen, goes numb and has deep pain and bruised feel to it and i cannot walk on it. i stepped on it the wrong way to catch my fall and it is only feeling worse by the minute. any clue if these are signs of a broken toe or just a sprain? any info would be comforting. thanks

I was playing basketball about 8 months ago and I tore my left acl. The doctor gave me two options, strengthen the muscles around the knee or surgury. He said that the muscles can become strong enough to compensate for the acl. However, I've done the exercises, and it hasn't be working. I can't even do a "bunny-hop" without it going out. I feel that the exercises are not working and my knee is just getting worse. So I'm wondering whether I just need to do more exercise concentrating on the knee (even though I've already been doing it for 8 months), or should I just do the surgury. Also what is the success rate for an ACL repair?
