As Ron so delicately put it....PAIN. There may be some localised bruising and it will certainly be tender to touch. If you are unlucky enough to catch it on something in an awkward way then you'll know for sure. The blood drains from your head, you can't hear or see anything for a few seconds, you think you might pass out or puke.....then it's probably fractured. Ouch. Hope it heals quickly. Took my 12 weeks. Humph.

Pain, pain and more pain. Swelling, bruising, tenderness, maybe the leg is at a funny angle.Inability to move leg without serious PAIN, accompanied by nausea.

intolerable pain. Patient will be unable to move the extremity because of it.
