For about a month now I've been experiencing a cracking noise EVERY time I turn my head right and left. It doesn't cause me too much pain, but I have been having headaches and I'm not sure if they are related. I already went to my regular doc and she said there wasn't much I could do. I have been in a few moderate car accidents. One in which I was rear-ended at 45mph, and the other, we T-boned someone running a redlight. We were going around 50mph. I'm not sure if this is related as these happened a long time ago. I would like to know if Chiropractic is the best treatment and if so, how long and how much might it cost...my insurance doesn't cover it and I want to know if it is worth it...thanks in advance for your help!

After a sports game, I landed wrongly. This has resulted in my leg being swollen for a long time. I massaged it myself and used crutches to help me walk. I was told to apply a cold compress and that my ligament was out of place. It has been 3 weeks and I still feel pain.

I put ice on it for 15 minutes, then I rubbed it with A5-35. I gave him some children's aceominaphen and now he is propped up with a pillow watching TV. Should I give him a warm bath too? I just want him to rest a little to see if it is going to feel better.
I pull a muscle at least every couple of months so I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly for a child, age 7. He has never pulled a muscle before.

My husband was in a car accident 6 years ago which left him with several herniated disks. He has headaches almost daily. He probably has 30 days a year without a headache at best.

I read an article about George Clooney how he had a neck injury. What happened was he had torn something in the neck causing fluids to hit his brain stem. What they did to fix this was put blood on the hole to clot it and stop the leaking to the brain. This story stood out because he said his headache was 100 times worse than migraine which is what my husband describes.

Why hasn't this been looked into in all the years he has been examined by several doctors in two states. No one mentioned this. How do I get him to see someone for it. He is disabled and money is really tight and we have no insurance and workers comp don't want to pay for crap. What can I possibly do to find out if this is the problem? If it is, it will be a quick fix, maybe they want to make money off him, I don't know.

I have chronic de-quervains tenosinovitus, which affects the tendons in my left wrist, so I cant do grappling or open handed striking. I can make a fist and am thinking something like Wing-Chun, or Tai-Chi (is Tai Chi a martial art?) . I need to get fit again and cannot do weight training anymore becasue of the injury. Any help appreciated. I live in London, any dojo recommendations?

My husband had an ankle reconstruction in july 05. He was told it would take three months to heal. We have seen a gp and specialist but they make light of the situation. It is now 1 1/2 years later and his ankle swells dramatically and changes colour to purple/black. We were told if he is on his feet more it would get better. When he is on his feet more it swells even more and hurts him. I am afraid that he may have circulation &/or blood clot. This could be highly dangerous. How many second opions do we need. What should we believe? Help us

I was at my friends house last November and we were on her dock. A peice of trash fell in the ocean and she made me get it. I reached my leg out into the water to pick it up with my foot. My knee made a loud crack and I couldn't move. I couldn't walk at all for about 30 min.If I sit down for too long my knee really irritates me and I have to get up and move. Or if I strech it it hurts really badly. I don't know how to explain the pain,it's really confusing.Anyways, this summer my mom took me to the doctor[orthapedic?] and I got an X-ray on my knee. They couldn't find anything wrong with it and then we got an MRI done. They only found a little thing on the knee and they gave me a shot that was supposed to help in a few days. It didn't help at all. It did not make my knee feel any better. I've done an MRI and an X-Ray TWO times. I was becoming frustrated with the doctor. My knee has been in alot of pain. I have no idea what to do now. Please help me. I'm 13 years old. I need help. Anybody

My arm was sprained from being twisted forcibly. The first day I could not move it and the second day was only slightly better. By day three I was getting significant improvement. I am at day five and still have swelling pain and have not regained full range of motion

My friend has had a heart attack in 2000 (she's only in her twenties), and at the time the brain suffered from lack of oxygen. I met her about 2002, at the time she suffered from severe depression. Now she keeps losing jobs, and finally one doctors assessed that her brain function is not normal. I'm just wondering if you know of anyone with similar experience. If so, please share the experience, and what you found helpful. Thanks!

I have and it's so embarrassing, especially when you're walking by yourself, instead of side by side with someone, that you could get away, with trying to blame it on, lol.

I've tried rest, Ive tried icing, heat, stretching daily, but it still remains. I now have resolved to two 600 milligram tabs of Ibuprofen 3 times a day just to go without the discomfort.

I think my three year old broke her nose. She hit it on a dresser? And it bled for a little while and swelled up. But it is the day after and it is really swollen and bruised from her eye to her nose. Family have been telling me that their is nothing that the Dr. can do. But I am really concerned. Could you please tell me what to do ? Any Dr. out there or nurse that can give me a right answer???
She is not in pain.... that I can tell and she can wipe it and all without crying in pain.
