hands go num get swollen, i not cuttin circulatio off but i wake up and cant bend fingers at all i have to force them to bend and or run them under warm water for about 5 minutes then soak them in warm water and epson salt.

how come whenever you cut yourself or get a bruise it only hurts when youve realised youve done it,even if it was hours before and you didnt know?

I went to the doctors today for some blood tests,,, and the Nurse struggled to find a point to take it from,, she tried twice in one arm no luck.. then three times in other arm she eventually managed it on third attempt... she said normally if you can,t see vein you can feel it but she couldn,t see or feel mine... i have had blood taken before and this as never happened before... does anyone know why this happened.....

I tried running about the equivalent of a marathon without training for it. I am athletic, but that is another beast to deal with. I couldn't even run much more than half of it.

I have 2 stress fractures in my feet. One in each. One near my left ankle bone and the other is on my right and is likely a metatarsal. I didn't have any X-rays to prove it. You just kinda know sometimes. I have gone over 2 months without running or serious sports and it's still not healed up. I was working some and maybe this slowed the healing, as I was on my feet and lifting some stuff now and then.

I've drank more milk than usual, taken some calcium supplements, actually laid off pop, which science has proven to contribute towards fractures later in life. Caffeine also leaches calcium.

I am 29. Have no insurance. Wanted to try a PEMF device(bone-growth stimulator), but not enough money. Is there a place I could rent one??

Have crutches at home, haven't used them much.

Suggestions, other?

I want to know that two year ago a cat bitten me . Now i am fine,two year ago i taken only titnes injection, i had't taken rebies injection.May be possible that after 20 year may i facing rebies porblems.Now cat is live (if any docter suggest me)

The pain comes and goes, but sometimes I almost can't walk, it hurts so much to lift my foot. My foot does not hurt and neither do my thighs or hips. Sometimes my leg kind of aches around my upper shin. I have jerked my knee before, and it never felt like this. In this case, the pain is not so much in my knee as below it. Does anyone know what this could be or what I should do?

like it looked pretty bad, my mom kept saying i needed stitches but i didn't want to, and i was right that i didn't after we went to ER a couple days later. But my question is, how come it didn't hurt, lol it was rly weird it was only numb but never actually hurt. i have full feeling in my thumb too

i have a sist on the back of my brain causeing me to have a shunt(a tube that goes from my brain to my stomic)i had my first at 4 months old and then a replacement at 16.after meany follow up appointments i had asked my doc.if it was ok to get one.his answer was of course no.i think because he just didn't like them)i am now 33 and i haven't used the shunt in many years.it was replaced at 16 as a precaution so there has been no reason for any doctor appointment.i was wondering sence so much time has past if it would be safe it get one.

Ok, so I just broke my wrist last weekend when I was snowboarding and now I have a bright pink cast that goes half-way up my arm to my elbow. Do you personally find casts to be a turn off??? Or, do you think its hard to dance with some one in a cast, even though its just on one arm?

I've had a broken wrist since july 06 i had surgery on dec 11th and i have long ways to go in a cast my follow up app. march 13th and it makes 9 months in casts

I got hit by a racquet while playing racquetball yesterday. While there is no outside symptom of any major injuries, I wonder if it's still ok internally. What's the best way to find out whether there is an internal injury or not. Would going to regular physician help or do I need to go to some specialist?

I am a 50 year old male and have been experiencing pains im my right groin since about 7 months ago. Up until Christmas I played 5-a-side football for an hour, once a week.
It all began suddenly, after a game and having cooled down, with a pain down the inside of my leg. Stupidly I kept playing every week, because I found that while I played and the are was warm, I could not feel anything. After about 3 months the pain subsided and the pain at the top of my groin began.

It can be very persistent and very acutely painful, or sometimes I do not feel it at all??? The interesting thing is that if I try to push on the area where I think the pain is coming from, I can never find a tender area.

It is all very frustrating, as it now stopping me from doing Gym work as well!

i was hit in a car and injured my neck. i have neck pain headaches and arm weakness. the mri said the disc are fine. they said no clinical reason. well now im in seriuos pain and i feel like people think im nuts! anyone know why i could still have problems?thankyou.

Each time i hurt myself either by scratch or once on the hot hob of my cooking gas, it left a black mark on my hand after healing up and this has disfigured my skin leaving a black mark. i have to wear long sleeves everytime even during the hot summer. pls what can i do to clear the black mark . is there a cream or somethin that i can use. pls help i dont want to spend this summer again in long sleeves.

I've had my navel piercing since september 2006, and hasn't caused me any problems..well, recently, my DUMB BEHIND stopped cleaning it, n it got swollen..not a lot..just a little..it basically looked like a misquito bite..anyway..while the slight swelling went down, blood n puss started coming out, and now my navel hurts like hell! And some of the scabbing came off so now it's kinda raw..I live on campus, 3hrs away from home, so I have no doctor 2 go 2..a friend of mine just tol me 2 keep cleaning it with a soft cotton ball or wash towel..it doesn't hurt as much as it has been, but sometimes it really likes 2 cut up..what should I do since I have no way 2 get anywhere..any other suggestions? And by the way..what in the heezy is sea salt???

An 18 wheeler hit our truck from behind, we weren't going very fast but it was still severe enough that my son and I hit our heads on the back window & broke it. I felt something hit the right side of my head & I was jolted to the front. When everything stopped, I realized that we had been hit & turned to check my 5 year old son (he just had a big bump). I looked back & saw the window broken & in that instant could not think of what broke it & hit us, but than realized that w/ the force of the accident my son & I must of hit our heads hard enough on the window that it broke. When the paramedics arrived they checked us and said we seemed fine. We decided not to go to the hospital b/c we felt fine (right now I do feel lightheaded & my back hurts) & am wondering if maybe we should go get checked out. It happened less than 2 days ago....should we go to the hospital to get x-rays of our heads or should we not. I'm worried about the long term effects. What should we do?
