I was a passenger in my friends car and we were rear ended. I had a cervical neck strain, a concussion, and some spinal damage.

I would think it depend on how much actual time you were in pain and how severe your injuries were. Are they something that is going to affect you for the rest of your life? Or is it something that time will will heal. Each would be something that needs a definite answer. Your lawyer will be able to determine the amount you should be able to get

A lot of factors come into play with accidents like yours. But generally what you get is one third of the settlement amount. You can add up all the bills and expenses caused from the accident and that would be one third and your lawyer will get the other third. For example, when i had my accident, the settlement amount was $51,000. My bills totaled $17,000, my lawyer recieved $17,000 which left me with $17,000.

Consult your lawyer on this one. You will probably undergo a disability rating my a MD at one point. If your quality of life has been affected profoundly then I would certainly want to be compensated for that. Just my opinion.

i believe is the way God want it, what if it happens in your living room will you charge your landlor or the caretaker. my own opinon have mercy and stay bless. happy recovery.
