i was hit in a car and injured my neck. i have neck pain headaches and arm weakness. the mri said the disc are fine. they said no clinical reason. well now im in seriuos pain and i feel like people think im nuts! anyone know why i could still have problems?thankyou.

They are probably only taking into account disfunction with the bones in your neck and not the muscle tissue. you might have strained or sprained muscles, tendon and ligaments that can cause headaches and muscle weakness. See a massage therapist that specializes in car accident rehabilitation and takes insurance.

See a chiropractor. I don't mean any chiropractor, seek out a good one. Take your MRI and get their opinion on it. You don't even have to let them touch you, they just really have a whole different view on things that MD's. I am not minimizing what MD's or DO's do, just a different avenue. You could talk to your medical doctor and ask if he/she could refer you to a chiropractor. You very well could have something out of place and that could be causing your symptoms. Beyond that, if you are still having that problems, they are obviously missing something and you should get a second opinion. You shouldn't feel like people think you are nuts!

Go to a chiropractor, they should be able to help with the pain.

Sounds to me like whiplash....
