negative on the hernia, you know the strangest part I really dont remember doing anything to tear it or hurting at the time....

what is with that...

A tear in the abdominal muscle is also called a hernia. It's usually caused from lifting something incorrectly or too heavy.

Multiple MOI (method of injury) with this one. Most common is to have a blunt trauma, such as a hit in football that causes the muscles to stretch too far. Can also happen when you have a weakness that causes a microtear, which usually results in a herniation.
