I have seen very young children who develop this when they first learn to walk. I don't know if it is just habit or has a medical cause (when they are little)

After doing it many years I would assume your muscles and hamstrings are shorted very severely.

Why don't you walk heel to toe? Are you not able to or is it a habit.?

Maybe if you wouldn't walk on your tip toes, you wouldn't need the surgery. You won't be as tall as before, but at least you would not need the surgery. You may need to get a toe truck, but in the end, put your best foot forward. Also change the flavor of your toe jam.
