5 months ago i twisted my neck by turning my head 180degrees, i got a burning sensation at the back of my head which caused my vision to be a bit impaired. After about 1 hour i was back to normal. Exactly one week after i again twisted my neck looking from the left to the right really fast. i twisted my neck again, this time i heard something torn in my neck. I developed lots of neck pain follow by the back of my head swollen. I recovered from my neck pains after 3 months, but i am experience a foggy head symptoms all day with concentration problem and sensitive to light and sound. When i am laying down everything feels fine when i am standing and moving about i feel all fogged up and disoriented. It has been five months and i cannot seem to regain my self. I was doing a lot of research online, the only thing i came up with is that probabl i have a severe brain concussion. Has any one have any idea to what is happening.
Thank you

I'm not looking for theories or studies etc. Eighty-seven-year-old grandma fell, and fractured her femur. Has had internal fixation. Hoping for nice diagrammatic instructions to help family to care and help her learn to walk and everything again. Yes, she has been seen by a physiotherapist. But I think extra written info would be good too - aid in comprehension and assimilation and all that.... Also welcome any other useful tips...

i was experimenting with bondage in my sexual activity. i was suspended from the ceiling, standing on my tip-toes. the rope felt tight but i went along with it. after 20 minutes of this my left hand fell asleep and it hasn't gotten better. it's been 4 days and i don't know if i should be concerned. i've never experimented with this kind of thing before. i'm ashamed to go to the doctor. it's a tingling sensation that starts right above the wrist bone and moves downward to the nerve inbetween my thumb and forefinger. anyone got any advice? help!

We are bringing her to the vet in the morning, but we would like an idea of what her symptoms could mean. It happened very suddenly late yesterday. She looks as if her hips or back legs are very stiff and painful. She is unable to stand up on her own and can only limp a short distance outside to go to the bathroom. There were no signs of discomfort or anything before yesterday. There is no history of hip displasia in her bloodline, although she is 8 years old and in the past had 2 litters of pups. She spent all day yesterday in the fenced in back yard with our 6 month old yellow lab and we maybe think they played too rough and she's just a little sore. Any ideas or suggestions on what could be going on or how to make her a little more comfortable until the morning would be appreciated. Thanks

Like 2 1/2 or 3 weeks ago the vision in my right eye started to decrease. I start loosing parifial vision both side to side and up and down. This didn't come as much of a shock to me because when i was 6 i had an accident w/ a steak knife. Nearly lost it but didn't. Doctor said i would have problems w/ it later in life and as i'm 28 now i just thought it was getting to that time. Well like 4 days ago i started feeling pressure in the same eye and noticed when i woke up there was stuff on my face that had drained out of it while i slept. 3 days ago the pressure got worse and agian 2 days ago. Yesterday the pain spread to the other eye. Now every light sorce i look at has a halo around it. I have black circles under my eyes (worse under the right one) and my eye lids are fat. Both eyes feel like they are 10 times to big for my head and they are gonna pop. I've gotten nothing in them, havn't changed my diet haven't been rubbing them. What wrong w/ me? Why do my eyes hurt?

Just had a interior reduction surgery where a steel plate was put on the fibula and a screw in the ankle to keep it in place due to a complete dislocation of the foot from the ankle and a broken fibula. Surgery was on Sunday night and even now when I get up from bed (foot is elevated the enitre time, cleaned twice a day and iced 3 times a day for 30 minutes) my foot throbs and feels like pins and needles like so bad sometimes that it keeps me in bed. How long does that last? I get the staples out on Thursday but just the feeling of the blood rushing to that area when I am up right has me wanting to keep my butt in bed. I am good with pain though. When it happened I was in pain but cracking jokes to keep my mind off it. They even tried to put it back in the socket with no pain meds before they even knew my fibula was broken and it sucked but I tolerated it. Anyone out there offer any sound advice minus the smart *** remarks? Thx to those that do.

I played a lot of racquetball over a short period of time. As a result the bottoms of my feet were covered in blisters. Now months later the blisters have healed but every time I play racquetball the bottoms of my feet hurt very bad. What can I do, or wear, to prevent this.

I am 13 years old and yesterday I had to lift one of those 28 foot fiberglass ladders to get a ball from the roof so I had to lift the ladder from benith it in order for the ladder to touch the roof (I lifted the ladder like the people who work on big weights). I only lifted it in less than one minute. I did't feel that the ladder was that heavy (although it was 28 foot tall) becuase it was made from fiber glass.

The next day, I felt a horrible pain by the tail bone area and by the lowest part of the backbone.

I only feel the pain when I sit down or bend my body. I wanna be tall when I grow because I wanna play pro BKB when I grow.

Is the pain a sign that I won't grow anymore? Will I stop growing? Will I grow improperly? Please help me!!!

A couple of years ago, when I was in my junior year of high school, In the locker room, this kid came up behind me and put his arm around my neck, attempting to pass me out. He held his arm there for almost 45 seconds maybe, idk. I did not pass out, but it hurt. And for a week it hurt a little, and i wasnt able to make quite a high voice.

Anyway, could it be possible that he injured my vocal chords or larynx to a significant amount? Like is it possible to externally injure it like that?

I just wanna know, to see that could I have been able to become maybe a singer and now I can't anymore because of that?

Is there any chance of permanent damage?

Or am I just being silly and paranoid. This is a very emotional issue for me, it has been hurting me, if anyone at all can help, or if anyone knows an Ear Nose Throat Doctor, then please please help, thanks.

My ankle started hurting and became swollen overnight. I went to the doctor and had an x-ray. no fracture, no sprain, no injury that i am aware of, however the inside of my right ankle continues to have a swollen egg shaped section just below my ankle bone that reaches to the bottom of my foot and causes pain in my heel wether i have been on it alot or not. any ideas as to what may be the problem?

My friend ruined her cornea on her left side(3/4 is completly gone)so she is seeing a special eye doctor everyday to make sure it heals properly. It was because of her 30day disposable contacts and her eyes weren't usto that (her eye wasn't getting enough oxygen I think and it completly ripped out(The cornea))so when it heals she has to switch to disposable everyday ones I think, but what would have happened if all her cornea completly damaged?

Ok I have a sharp pain in the middle of my buttocks my right cheek. It feels like a tightly knotted muscle like you would get in your back. It has gotten worse over today and started yesterday. I tried taking a bath, massaging it. When I move around or walk it feels like its pulling my leg muscles up with it and a little tingling and numbness. I take a certain kind of medication for bipolar disorder 150 mg lamictal, 50mg seroquel, 10mg lexapro. It hurts the most to sit back down again. I do not do alot of moving around or exercise during the day either. I am a stay at home housewife so I don't know what could be the cause. It is really starting to annoy me and scare me a little. Any suggestions besides going to my doctors which I plan to do if this persists. Thanks.
