Honey, take 2 tylenol AND a couple of aspirin ( with food) and let a hot shower soothe your back for a five minutes, ask someone to rub you down with muscle sootheing lotion, and then go to bed for a day! We have all had back strain before and it really is painful. After you get to feeling better, learn to push and life with your legs to protect your back. If you have a coach at school, ask him/her to show you how to do it; they should know and it would be a great service to everyone. Hope you feel better. If you don't, see the doctor. It usually takes a few days to get over a strain like that. But, dear, you did a great service for that person and they will always remember you for it and for helping at the risk of your own health. You are blessed. Thanks for asking such a great question!

The best is to use a warm bottle on the spot that hurts, rub it in with a muscle ointment, find a comfortable spot in front of the telly and take it easy for a day or so. Hope it gets better.

Put ice on your back. Ice the spot that hurts for 20 mins take 15 mins off. Do it three times. Go see a chiropractor ASAP. You could have an injury

Take a hot bath and long soak with a cup of Epsom salts mixed in the bathwater. You'll feel better afterwards. If it still hurts, take a couple of ibuprofen. Back pain often takes a couple days to resolve, so be patient.
