my pant leg caught on a guard rail at work, i fell to the ground. i had 21 stiiches in my head,and 4 in my hand(skin was missing so they couldn't sew the rest) i have praralysis on the right side of my body.with drop foot. it has been six months i will not be able to return to my job

I am sure most states are the same. When a workers compensation injury happens, workers comp pays hospital bills, etc., usually a weekly stipend, and then when all is taken care of a rating is given--as to loss of usage....and payment is based on that. SO, everyone is different as to the amount of workers compensation payment, based on the rating issued by the doctor. Good luck with all of this.

Buddy I've been fighting the W.C.C for THREE years! if you don't have a lawyer get one. And make sure he/she deals with W.C.C. I fell of of a building at work and crushed both feet messed up my ankels,knees,hips and back and am in constant pain. Won't be able to do my old job and have a very hard time just walking. I feel for you and wish you the best.

get a lawyer fast ,that specializes in workers comp
don't let the company tell you that you don't need a lawyer
you do need a lawyer to protect your rights.....
