Chiropractor, with strong training in sports medicine and therapy.
I had similar problem when training for marathon. Regular MD was no good for me. Told me to ease up, take pain pills. Chiropractor cured me with just a couple treatments.

It depends on the type of injury. Physical Medicine or Orthopedics would be a good start. If you haven't had a diagnosis yet you can start with your primary physician. You may need to be refered.
