My boyfriend lent on my nose. By accident. As you do. Awful cracking noise, but thought that might just be, erm, normal.

The top bone (by the bridge) is fine, by the cartalidge in the main nose can shift about in an odd way, and my nose can bend in mysterious ways. It feels like bits ahve gone floppy!

I called the GP nurse and she was like 'aw, it's fine, put ice on it'.

But what if it heals wonky? It feels very. very, very odd.

Han :-)

Sorry, no, he didn't hit me. He 'lent' on it. Sorry, is that not right? As in, he leaned back and accidently ended up putting all his weight on my nose.

I know cartilidge is meant to shift, it just didn't feel like that before. The septum can just wiggle about.

Gosh, love to help, but I need you to translate a word into English please.
your boyfriend "lent" on your nose. In English "lent" is the pasttense of lend= allow someone to borrow, use without payment.
I understand the word "wonky", it's a proper Oxford word to those smart allecks who think it is slang.
Regarding your nose, a Dr. would need to wait for the swelling and softness to reduce before making a proper judgement on resetting.
Keep it iced and give your BF elbow pads.

I don't understand some of your words. Did you mean your boyfriend hit you? If you called a nurse and you want a second opinion, go to the doctor or hospital. My daughter ran full force into a pole before and busted her nose. I didn't take her to the doctor, but it was probably broken. There's nothing they can do for it anyway.

I don't think it's broken....if it was it would be very swollen, bruised...and there would have been a great deal of blood...you would also probably have some trouble breathing through it...I knwo what you are talking about with the cartilage...and mine is like that too...and I know for a fact that my nose isn't broken...if your nose was broken you wouldn't be able to stand touching your nose like that...Hope this helps.

Pinch you're nostril for round 15 to twenty minutes or till the bleeding stops. do not tilt you're head backwards because the ambitious will drip down you're by (yuck). in case you get a good number of nostril bleeds imagine about procuring a humidifier and placed it in you're bedroom once you sleep. i'm getting undesirable nosebleeds in the course of the wintry climate and that is what I had to do. wish it enables!
