the person dous not have 2 joints... the tissue is just more flexible, or there is more of it there.

They're not double jointed, only flexible jointed. A double jointed and a stiff jointed skeleton are the same.

I am one of those people who are "double jointed" and it's not all it's cracked up to be. Sure we get parades and are usually the most popular person in every room, but bending our joints in awkward positions is just a way for us to compensate for our shortcomings. If you aren't double jointed I would recommend that you don't become one!

no it is not possible. if you are DOUBLE jointed think about it you would have two joints per space where one joint should be. its jsut a saying. it just means you are very flexible.

It's possible but EXTREMELY rare and unlikely to have double insemination. It's called superfetation and it occurs when the womans body releases a second egg after fertilization of the first. Statistically, it is only though to occur in 1 in 28,000 pregnancies. So basically... the new sperm just die.

They have congenital disorders of collagen formation, such as Ehler- Danlos syndrome (cutis hyperelastica) and Marfan's syndrome.. These people can work in circuses as 'rubber men', etc.
