I used to use Ralgex years ago. As I remember it, you applied it and about 10 minutes later you wish you hadn't! It felt like you were burning up - but it did the trick!

I have tried Ralgex and Transvasin but neither have any heat in them at all. I was particularly disappointed with the Ralgex as i expected better results.

Does anyone know of a commercially available heat rub that produces the effects of the old Ralgex?

I have also tried to find some Firery Jack but with no luck. It must be called something else or is it just mythical?

Can someone give some information about head injures, if someone could come out of it if they have a traumatic head injury? Yesterday on his way home from work my dad was in a car accident. He's in critical condition with head and internal injuries. A truck slid into his car on the ice head on.The doctors said that hes not brain dead but he still will not wake up. I've been crying all day. Im so scared, I made myself sick from crying and being scared. I can't go see my dad. My mom and even the doctors told me I have to go see him but I can't make myself do it. To make it worse there are things I need to tell him. I can't remember the last time I said I loved him or hugged him. He tells me he loves me every day and tries to make me hug him but I always push him away. I was talking to one of his nurses and she told me that touch is very important. But I can't make myself do it. Maybe Im scared he'll hear me or feel me. I dont know it just freaks me out!!! Could someone PLEASE reply!Thx!

She was walking and I went to touch her and I pushed her and she fell headfirst down the stairs!!!!!!! She laid there for about 1 minute and got up, dusting herself off!I think I'll call 911!! It looks serious! She didnt say anything except that I was a jerk when she got up! Should I check her over for bruises, cuts and lacerations?? She refuses to ever go to the doctors, should I carry her to the car and drive her there?? Oh no!! MY MOM!!!

I began fencing a few months ago, and although at first my hands were fine afterward, recently the right side of my ring finger on the hand I hold the foil with had been going numb after several bouts. At first the sensation -or lack thereof- would only last for a day or so and I figured it was simply because of the new activity, but after the most recent practice the finger continued to feel strange for over a week. Have any other fencers experienced this, and does anyone know how to prevent it?

Unfortunately I fell forward on a ice patch last night and now my knee is swollen. I don't think I broke a bone because I felt fine and walked home last night. This morning I woke up with my knee very swollen. I'm wondering if its just from the impact of falling on my knee or maybe because it's something more serious.... I've tried to ice pack my knee and so far it's provided some comfort. Also there is not visible bruising on my knee... HOw should I proceed from here ?

I had something wierd happen yesterday. I am 28 so I am too young to have a stroke I think. I was walking and got a sudden severe headache running up the back of my head. Ten minutes later I was driving home and my left arm totally went numb for 5-10 minutes then has improved. Its still tingly but my headache went away. What could this be? Has anyone had this before? Could it be a pinched nerve in my neck or spine?

the past few months i've notice my left knee pops every now and then when i walk. it pops when fully extended. what could this be from? can it be corrected?
also my right shoulder pops when i do shoulder exercises. that one exercise where i push up towards the ceiling when siting down.
well im more worried about my knee because i feel it when i walk if i fully extend it out. it also feels weird when its cold.
JUST trying to be as descriptive as possible.
also, yes i do have insurance, but i'd rather know ahead of time before i go see him. most likely he will refer me to a specialist (like they all do) but what do you think the specialist will do? x-ray? open me up!? just asking.
but also i think the knee popping started when i started exercising by running. any other alternatives instead of running?
sorry for all the extra details.
BTW im a 21yrs old, Male and weigh 152.
it think i should drink more milk.

My 18 month old son was bitten on the upper lip by our dachshund today (12/5/06). There are 2 slits on the skin above the lip forming a Y shape. There is also a Triangle shaped tear on the pink of the lip. The skin is slightly raised, separating from the lip. It is not bad enough for stitches, but I do not want him to have a very noticable scar on his lip since he is still young. It is hard for me to keep him from touching it. What should I do?

When I exert myself running, my nose becomes numb (I get a tingling feeling in it, and I can't feel my nose when touch it) for about fifteen to thirty minutes after stopping. This really freaks me out, and it occurs quite often. Any idea what it may be?

I need to find out what my x-ray results mean. They came back saying i may have already had some injury to my wrist prior to a sprain - a "mild negative ulnar variance". I'm off to a pediatric specialist but i was wondering what it was before I go.

Anyone here know!?

Thanks

i was wearing my contacts, and my eye started erritating me, so I looked in the mirror, and I saw this kinda fold. I thought it was my contact, so I took it out, and it's still there. what is it? and what should I do about it?

This just happened today, so it's not something that I'm used to.

ok so i am 13yrs old, and recently i have been to the doctor for my cold ,and so anyways i asked my doctor about this knot on the back of my carterlidge piercing, my piercing had also closed up so know it feels like a knot on the back of my cartlidge and the doctor said that it wasn't a keliod. plus it doesn't look like one becasue it looks kinda like a puss bump or something. my question is do you or have you heard of something like a keliod? but in time will heal because i really wanna know if this thing will go away. thanks for ur advice!

I 'popped' my neck earlier today, like I do all the time...but now it's hurting right there, right between my upper neck and where my head starts...what did I do? If I try to 'pop' it again it feels really weird? I have a slight headache too...did I do anything serious?

I have been dealing with extreme lower back pain whenever I go to sleep at night. I'm only able to sleep for like 2 hours and then I have to change sides, I can't lie on my back and sleep, it hurts too much. I do this through out the entire night and its been going on for almost a year now. I went to the doctor and he prescribed a steroid and some muscle relaxers but they don't seem to be doing anything. I am also doing some specific streches and exercises to help. I need some feedback to whether or not to go back to the doctor. Thanks
