The amount of scarring depends on what gauge you pierce it at. A small 16-14 gauge will not leave a very noticeable scar (by anyone except you, of course) while anything larger will leave a flat round mark when healed. I suggest you ask your piercer about this when you figure out what you want.

Two of my friends have done that and they both had a scar, but they were not noticeable at all. One girl had hers for about 6 months and the other one had hers for years.

Yes. I have a few friends who did it, but got older and no longer wear the nosering. On some of the, it made a grey dot, as if stabbed by a pencil. On some, it made the 'hole' impression, like when people with pierced ears don't wear their earrings.

A lot of it depends on how old youare and your complextion color the younger you are, You tend to leave less of a scar and the darker skin color you tend to show more.

Mine did, but it's so tiny nobody notices unless I point it out. It's been out 12 years
