the past few months i've notice my left knee pops every now and then when i walk. it pops when fully extended. what could this be from? can it be corrected?
also my right shoulder pops when i do shoulder exercises. that one exercise where i push up towards the ceiling when siting down.
well im more worried about my knee because i feel it when i walk if i fully extend it out. it also feels weird when its cold.
JUST trying to be as descriptive as possible.
also, yes i do have insurance, but i'd rather know ahead of time before i go see him. most likely he will refer me to a specialist (like they all do) but what do you think the specialist will do? x-ray? open me up!? just asking.
but also i think the knee popping started when i started exercising by running. any other alternatives instead of running?
sorry for all the extra details.
BTW im a 21yrs old, Male and weigh 152.
it think i should drink more milk.

Stop running, bad for ya these days
Get a set of weights and put on ankles and lift them every other day and u will strengthen your knees so they wont pop as much.
The weather change is rough on bodies.
Sleep in a sleeping bag at night to correct body pains.
Dont go see a doc, u can heal yourself...mind over matter.

i not sure but i had that popping and my chiropractor said it was air in the joint,or it could be the tendons in the knee are stretched which can cause the knee to pop try to put a elastic bandage around your knee ,see if that helps also get more rest on the leg .the vicks feeling could be inflamed try ice pack on your knee while resting .hope this helps

I dunno if it is well or dangerous, however I do recognise that I received my thumb (that pops usually AND has agony related to it) looked at and the document final week. He mentioned that the popping is from the sliding of the muscle and bone--some thing or different (sorry I can not mirror what he mentioned.. it is all clinical jargon to me). Anyhow, he mentioned that the popping used to be induced from the trouble in my thumb, and that if take the proper meds and get the proper injection, it'll quit. So essentially, the popping isn't dangerous, only a effect of some thing that would be dangerous.
