That's fairly normal as the nose is mostly cartilage anyway and extremely sensitive. It is also prone to swelling and blackening around the eyes but that doesn;t really mean it's broke. I've broke mine six times and the signs seemed to be less obvious on the exterior for the breaks then just bruiseing or soreness. If you are having trouble breathing threw it or are feeling severe sinus pain after a couple of days I would see a doctor as breaks in certain portions can have bad effects on the sinuses, otherwise just keep ice on it often and it will most liekly heal itself.

If you think there is any damage you can try clentching your fingers together, putting the palm where your thumb is on both sides of your nose,.. pressing both palms againts your nose so your squeezeing your nose and yanking away from your face... not releaseing your palms. If anything is out of place or broken this should help get some of that straightened out. Don't be surprised if your in agony during this and for a couple to tens minutes afterwards but it suddenly feels much better... that's how dislocation and things being cut off work out when you fix them.

Next thing you'll want to do if your don't before hand is scedual an appointment with your doctor just incase. If you walk in an emergency room they will do the same thing I described only it will be more frightening and take longer. Ice it afterwards if your bleeding to slow down the bleeding,.. but not before doign this or you may cause damage (not that anyone cares,.. then they wonder why their nose looks funny for the rest of their life),

Either bruised or broken. Go to your doctor or pharmacist..

In the meantime, check to see if it is swollen or red. I honestly, would put something cold on it and take some tynenol.

Might of broken it, is it really bruised? Just let it be, maybe attempt to ice it when you can. Hope you get better soon
