yes about 2 mounths ago i hurt my knee and went to 3 differnt doctors. and today went to surgen dr. and he said that i need surgery on my knee torn cortlege. workmans comp is paying for everything.. my question is will workmans comp offer lump sum at the end of this operation?????? help thanks

Im asking because My doctor removed a small bone chip(s) from my shoulder after an accident.They say there was no mucsle damage,however due to the altered boney area of the shoulder joint I have some limitations and pain when moving my arm in some directions.I was therefore wondering if any options exist?

i dont have a sore throat i have sneezed a bit no bad cough but i had a bug or virus (vomiting)a week ago i think is that why?
only one is swollen on right side not all the way up neAr the ear down closer to the middle fo the neck on the side

I was outside playing football in the streets with my friends when Wham! i hit the mailbox trying to catch the ball next thing i kno im at home in the bed with some ice around my ankle but i still cant walk on it now and my dad is thinkin about takin me to get crutches i want them but my parents dont believe my ankle is still broken?

The main question is Is this a settlement issue. If so then the amount in a ball park range. A work retraining issue. If so then is this like going to community college or such as that or maybe monthly checks from the Federal Goverment. If so then how much is a normal amount. All of this is taking place in North Carolina.. I have limited strength, moblity and moderate to severe pain constantly.

I have a pain that is mostly under my left shoulder blade. When I turn my head, the pain goes up to my neck. It is a burning pain, simiar to puled or torn muscles, but I haven't done anything that would have caused it. I took Ibuprophen, but it had no effect. Any ideas on what it is or how to treat it would be greatly appreciated. I've had this pain for 5 days now and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Hi..yesterday I was scratched by a kitten on 2 fingers...barely a wound mark, but it hurt. I washed immediately and put antiseptic on. A few hours later noticed finger feels bruised and hurts to bend it, but still no swelling around puncture mark or anything. No redness, no swelling, but hurts ALOT to bend. I have alot of cats and get scratched alot, but have never had such a bruising feeling after???? It feels like there is a great big bruise or something on the joint. It seems to feel better for a minute or so after I run it under hot water. I'm allergic to antibiotics so this is really scaring me! Thanks

My kitten scratched the white of my eye...it now looks like a broken blood vessel. I can see fine but it is a little sore. Does anyone know of a good eye rinse. Im a broke student and don't have the money to go to an eye doc. at this time.

About 12 hours ago I was scratched by a kitten...quickly washed and put antiseptic on it. Can barely see the wound, but a few hours later it started to hurt to bend my finger...no swelling, no other pain, more like a bruised feeling when I try to bend my finger. I'm allergic to antibiotics and would have to be hospitalised if they give them to me, so I don't want to run off unnecessarily, but I"m a bit concerned. Thanks.

two weeks ago i pinched the syatiac nerve in my lower back,, it has seemed to of healed up ok , now the prob is ,, my butt cheek,left leg,and testicals, are starting to hurt alot, Butt and leg are cramping, and the " boys " are constantly throbbing , as if i was kicked , if any one has had a back problem like this , is this normal?

Today at school I got kicked in the nuts. That was 5 hours ago and for the past five hours I have been in absolute agony. I have been hit in the balls before, but not this bad. One of my balls has swollen, and it really hurts whenever its tocuhed or comes into contact with anything else. Dosent look healthy! No real signs of bruising. Looks kinda slanted. PROPER HELP ONLY PLEASE, IT HURTS LIKE HELL!

I recently had a knee MRI that showed a possible meniscus tear and a fluid collection. The doctor says the fluid cannot be removed because it has to naturally reabsorbed by the body. He doesn't think surgery will benefit me because the tear is asymptomatic. I have been doing physical therapy for over a month but see no improvement. Went back to doctor & scheduled a "scope" to see what's going on. When will this fluid go away??
