This time of year I would say falling off ladders or roofs from people trying to hang Christmas lights and cleaning the leaves out of there gutters

Burns is the most common these days and then its head injuries,i know i work in A/E.

1.Boiling water or scalding-kettles, showers, steamers
2.Falls like when you slip on wet floors or polished floors or fall in the shower or bath
3.stubbing toes when furniture has been moved or pulled out
4.head injuries when you fall down steps if they are wet or your abit drunk
5.Drownings in the back yard pool or spas
6.Server burns from gas explosion from B.B.Q's or heaters exploding
7.Head or finger decapitation when playing around fans.
8.Cuts or knife injuries when you cutting food
9.Oil burns when cooking with hot fat
10.House fires when you have faulty appliances or candles burning all night.
Or you smoke in bed and fall a sleep before putting the cigarette out.
11.Server burns or death when lawn mowers explode and Gas bottles which are faulty or over heated.
12.Poisons when kids drink stuff from bottles that have been switched from a soft drink to a poisons and not labeled or locked away.
13.Medicane poisoning when it isn't locked away as well and falls into the wrong hands.

these days our homes are only as safe as we make them.
dont let our homes become a death trap as many home are already.

use common sence and lock things away and things that are expired throw them out with proper caution.
check candles and fires are out before retiring
put sharp knifes out of reach
keep poisons in there proper containers and up high.

I think its cuts, think i cut myself once every few months or so, falling i can't remember the last time i fell at home...burning probably less often than cuts...

I read one time that it is burns...second is slip and fall injuries.

Old folk falling of chairs and letting home go cold
this time of year,winter,makes blood thicken
thus causing heart attacks.
keep eye on your gran and gramps.
