a lot of the time i see people swinging their back creating a lot of momentum in order to help them do bicep curls. my buddies tell me i should keep my back straight the whole time and try not to move it. My goal is to gain as much mass as possible, so should i swing my back and perhaps use more weight, or keep my back still and stick with the weight iam at?

You see i've been through a stage of not eating and lost a lot of weight. I lost quite a bit but now I want to start eating again but continue losing weight (my BMI is 21.6 i think) and i want to lose about 8lbs.
Is is better to starve yourself or eat little meals reguarly throughout the day?
I know you need to drink water
But which is easiest and quickest. I know the excersise will help too...

Im 19 turning 20 this month. Im 5'6 and I used to weigh 140pounds. But i found out i was pregnant, and gained 53 pounds the whole pregnancy. After my daughter was born i told myself that i would lose the weight. I did really good at first, but then i started to be a stay at home mother and gained back the weight PLUS more. Now i weigh 190 and want to get back to my weight before, or possibly 130. Ive never been this heavy and it sucks cause i have so many gorgeous clothes that dont even fit me no more! Im really determined! so please help me. Im even thinking about diet pills, any suggestions on any good ones that ACTUALLY work and dont drain me. Please please please help! Thanks!

I have been to the doctors and tried everything they have said. The people at the gym do not understand why I am gaining. I have been tested for almost everything and I am healthy. I do have gastroparesis and IBS. I really am trying and just don't know what else to do?

First thing, I've been off and on with Weight Watchers for two years now and the most I've lost with them is three pounds. I just can't seem to stick to it. So my first question is, what's the "secret"?

Maybe it's already out there somehow, but here's my idea:
I've tried "ankle strap weights" but they don't fit and don't work. Somehow to use dumbbells (safely) on your knees or ankles...

(there is one exercise which involves positioning yourself like a cat, and squeezing a dumbbell between your knee and raising it, but that only does so many muscles)

...you have to somehow get an adjustable Velcro strip to fit, then some sort of cusion/pillow then be able to strap a dumbbell on it.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS IF THIS EXISTS ALREADY, IF NOT, ANY IDEAS FOR A HOMEMADE 'SYSTEM' LIKE THIS?:)

I was up all night for the past few nights throwing up but i don't know why.

all i had to eat was:

some cereal
half a ham sandwich
and roast beef dinner (but i ony had two mouthfuls of beef)

it can't have been the ham because my dad ate the other half and it can't have been the beef because the rest of my family had more beef than i did

i don't understand why i was so sick and for the past few days i have completly lost my appitite and the thought of food makes me want to throw up. i don't know what caused it and i haven't much in three days.
its no good advising me to eat coz it jsut makes me ill

does anyone have any ideas what caused this??

i'm 14 by the way and have just taken a german test which bothered me for ages, could it have been stress? what's wrong i'm so hungry but i can't eat.

This is what I ate this week:
Day #1- Water, Diet Coke
Day #2- Diet Dr Pepper, An apple
Day #3- Nothing
Day #4- Water
Day #5- salad with no dressing, just plain lettuce
Day #6- Diet coke, an apple
Day #7 (today)- Water, 1 sucking candy

For example, I feel tired at work when I am not well rested. Others, however, seem to get by on less rest.

If I work 84 hours a week, on average with 4 hours of sleep between each shift. On my single day off I sleep for 12 hours to "catch up". All 8 days though I am tired and my work performance is less than great.

Others however seem to do just fine with the same schedule.
Our eating habits are the same or near similar.

I am in great health. I don't have thyroid issues. I run 30 miles a week, lift weights to stay toned, and have no health issues that I am aware of. I'm not skinny, but my body fat is only about 5%, my BMI is 21.3. Perhaps that has something to do with it. I just don't know. My hands get cold easily. I feel great and this is not really a problem, but I am curious why this may be so. Any ideas?

I know most woman want to keep their breast size, when they're trying to lose weight and not become flat chested... but i want the opposit...

I have large breasts (which i hate!) i was thinking of starting maybe running, or going to the gym... y'know just do something!! ... try and become smaller chested naturally...
But will it make a big difference???
Does it always work with just exercise?

Or is there nothing i can do about it do you think?


If not, i'm looking into breast reduction.... but to be honest, that's the last thing i want to do.
