Regular exercise and a good balanced diet should do the trick. Nothing to strenuous for exercise, just keep it simple. Walking and dancing are some great ways to lose some calories. Breastfeeding kills about 500 calories a day. Some mothers are genetically wired to keep those extra pounds. Try snacking on healthy snacks throughout the day instead of 3 large meals. This will keep you fuller longer. Cheese and crackers, carrots, celery, grapes, and water are just a few of the many things you can have. I have lost all my baby weight (and then some) by sticking to this and my baby is 10 1/2 weeks old. Good luck and if you stick to it, you should see the scale start to drop back soon. But don't lose to quickly, 1 lb a week is perfect.

It may help reducing the weight...but it helps a lot in maintaining your physique and keep you active throughout the day. You should alternate it with jogging or running if you can on different days of the week for achieving reduction. Also keep a watch on your diet...avoid building up calories.

Yes if you stay in your target heart rate zone for at least 30mins each time. Check the mayo clinic website for a target heart rate calculator I don't know the link but know they have one.
